SOUTHLAND : Small Quake Near San Bernardino

SAN BERNARDINO — A small earthquake centered in rugged mountain terrain struck San Bernardino County early today but caused no injuries or damage. The magnitude 3.6 quake struck at 6:20 a.m., Caltech spokesman Bob Finn said. The shaker’s epicenter was 16 miles northwest of San Bernardino.
San Bernardino police said that there were no reports of injuries or damage and that the quake apparently was not felt in most of the city.
