Simi Valley Man Held in Child Molesting

A Simi Valley roofing contractor remained in jail Monday after his arrest on suspicion of felony child molesting in which two young girls were victims, authorities said.
Richard George Grabowski, 35, was arrested Friday afternoon after a two-week investigation, Simi Valley police said. He was being held in the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department jail in Ventura in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Police declined to release details of the investigation but said the victims were two local girls, ages 11 and 12. The investigation after one of the victims contacted police Aug. 26. Detectives watching Grabowski arrested him Friday afternoon while he was driving close to his home on Walnut Street near Tapo Canyon Road.
Sgt. Tony Harper said detectives will ask the district attorney’s office to file multiple counts of felony molestation against Grabowski, who is scheduled to be arraigned today.
