Tax Measure

I urge you to reconsider your support of the June, 1990, ballot measure to raise taxes (“A Boost From Bill Honig,” editorial, Aug. 25). What we need is effective and uncorrupt management of our tax dollars, not new taxes. The recent information about the mismanagement and corruption in our city government underscores the need for tighter control, not new money.
