COMMERCIAL SCENE : Town & Country Center Sold to Netherlands Firm

Burnham Pacific Properties Inc., a San Diego-based real estate investment trust, has sold the Town & Country Shopping Center in Escondido for $4.8 million to the Netherlands-based Montparnasse Investment Trust.
The 69,780-square-foot center, at 1625 East Valley Parkway, is anchored by a Longs Drug Store and a Pic n’ Save outlet. Each party represented itself in the transaction.
