Favored Strawberry Silk won the $2-million All American Futurity, richest sprint in quarter horse racing.
The victory was the ninth in 11 starts this season for the gray filly. The futurity win also was the second in a row for the jockey-trainer combination of Jacky Martin and Jack Brooks, and fifth for the pair since 1978.
