‘Heroic’ Voyager, Its Human Guides

I’ve taken the liberty to imagine the newspaper article from the unsuspecting planet with which the Voyager spacecraft is destined to cross paths.
“War declared on small distant world after alien spacecraft crashed into crowded downtown area, killing everyone in sight. What was thought to be a meteor entering our atmosphere last Monday during a busy lunch hour, turned out to be an unmanned alien spacecraft, government officials have disclosed.
“A little black box with a silver disc inside survived the impact. Officials, after translating the inscriptions on the disc, have determined that our planet has been provoked and will retaliate as soon as possible. Officials have prepared a return capsule with a notarized certificate which contains a declaration of war.
“On the lighter side, some of the information on the disc was music. After being released to the public, ‘Gregorian Chants’, Bach’s ‘Brandenberg Concerto’ and ‘Johnny Be Good’ are ranked 46th, 47th and 48th on the charts, with a bullet.”
