Encino Wins, 10-6, in Pony World Series

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Encino advanced in the championship bracket of the Pony League World Series with a 10-6 victory over Orland Park, Ill., Sunday. Encino is 2-0 in the tournament and will play defending champion Seoul, South Korea on Tuesday night.
Steve Chavez was three for three with a double and three runs batted in for Encino. Kevin Deitch added a three-run home run and Jesus Perez hit a two-run single.
Deitch was the winning pitcher.
