Construction has begun on a second 20-story office tower at 3 Park Plaza in Irvine’s Jamboree Center.
The $85-million tower, expected to open in late 1990, will have about 400,000 square feet of space. The marble-sheathed building, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, is identical to another office tower that opened in the previous phase of the complex.
Jamboree Center stands about one block southeast of the Jamboree Road exit of the San Diego Freeway. It is owned by the Irvine Co., with management and leasing by Tooley & Co.
