A 3.3-magnitude earthquake centered in a remote southern section of the San Bernardino National Forest was barely felt in nearby desert resort communities today, authorities said.
“I didn’t feel a thing and didn’t hear about any telephone calls,” said a police dispatcher in Palm Springs, about 10 miles away from the epicenter.
