Obviously a D-Lite

Having lately spent much time in the desert, I have yet to hear newborn K-LITE, but--judging from the intensity of the invective heaped upon it by disgruntled rockers bemoaning the departure of KEDG (which, believe me, I have never listened to either )--it must be a D-LITE. I love it sight unheard.
My heart bleeds for the bereaved, tragically now down to their last 30-odd outlets for their beloved cacophonous manure.
Kudos to station manager Bill Ward, who doubtless learned from his abortive attempt to “contemporize” KMPC a few years ago that the musical airwaves need not be monopolized by that abhorrent, incessant, incoherent, nasal caterwauling, accompanied by eternally twanging deafening off-key amplified guitars, that we mature folk have come to know and revile as “rock ‘n’ roll”!
