LeRon Ellis, former basketball star at Santa Ana Mater Dei High School, is leaving the University of Kentucky.
The 6-foot-10 sophomore center announced his decision as a result of NCAA sanctions against Kentucky.
Ellis has not decided where he will transfer, but has reportedly expressed interest in Syracuse, St. John’s and Nevada Las Vegas.
