A man driving a car belonging to the family of a slain Clairemont woman was arrested in San Diego, and police pressed their search for a second person sought in the fatal beating. Marco Tores, 20, was jailed and booked for investigation of murder and auto theft after officers saw him driving one of two cars stolen from the home of Sung Yee Barr, 62. Barr was beaten to death last Tuesday, apparently with a baseball bat, during a robbery of her home.
