Dick Clark Productions Reports 7% Higher Profit

Dick Clark Productions said its profit in the third quarter that ended March 31 rose 7% from a year earlier, to $431,000. Revenue climbed 7% in the period to $8.7 million.
For the nine months, the Burbank production company said its profit was $1.6 million, compared to a loss of $734,000 a year earlier. Revenue climbed 19% in the period to $20.2 million.
The company attributed its improved performance to better profits from its television series work and to special programs that it produced.
