Nashville Refuses to Roll Out Red Carpet for UFOs

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The City Council shot down a bill calling for Nashville to construct a UFO landing pad, and the lone sponsor of the proposal conceded that some believe his “elevator’s not going to the top floor.”
But Councilman George Darden insisted that he is serious about the need to build a landing port for unidentified flying objects. “You might live to regret this day,” Darden told the council after the 27-1 vote against his proposal Tuesday night.
