Chapman Loses to UC Davis in Division II Tennis

UC Davis swept in doubles to defeat Chapman College, 5-3, to finish third in the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. Division II team tennis championships Wednesday at the Four Seasons Resort in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.
Tom Burwell and Duncan Love defeated Olivier Amerlinck and Darren Kapik, 6-2, 6-1. Scott Tredennick and Bill DeLambert defeated Laurent Dopsy and Michael Zuercher, 6-4, 6-3.
Burwell also defeated Amerlinck in singles, 6-2, 7-6.
Chapman (14-12) finishes the season fourth in the nation.
