KRISTIANSAND, Norway — A dozen baby boa constrictors were stolen from a zoo last week, and police believe they probably were freed in the countryside.
The potentially giant tropical snakes would have little chance of surviving.
The 19 king boas were hatched April 18 at Dyreparken Zoo in southern Norway.
Gunnar Vang of the Kristiansand Police said there was no trace of the snakes or suspects.
