Actor Timothy Bottoms was arrested in Ventura on suspicion of waving a .22-caliber pistol at another motorist on Highway 101, the California Highway Patrol said Thursday. The 37-year-old actor, who lives in Santa Barbara, was booked for investigation of brandishing a gun on a roadway, a felony, and carrying a loaded weapon, a misdemeanor, said CHP spokesman Jim Utter. Bottoms immediately posted bail and was released. The arrest came after Frank Harwood, 38, of Meiners Oaks, reported he had been threatened.
