Prep Baseball : Irvine’s Goldstein Pitches 1-Hitter to Beat Dana Hills

David Goldstein pitched a one-hitter to lead Irvine High School to a 2-0 victory over Dana Hills in a South Coast League game Friday at Dana Hills.
He had a no-hitter for 5 2/3 innings before Nathan Ure singled to left field. Goldstein had seven strikeouts.
Irvine (12-11, 7-6) scored a run on an error in the third and Bowen Ota had an RBI single in the sixth. Dana Hills is 8-15-1 and 4-9.
