Girls’ Basketball Playoffs : Anaheim Canyon Sinks Camarillo in 4-AA Semifinal

Keri Erkenbrack scored a three-point basket with seven seconds remaining to lift Anaheim Canyon High to a 49-48 victory over Camarillo in a Southern Section 4-AA girls’ basketball semifinal Saturday at Villa Park High.
Canyon (22-4) will play Valencia in the final at Chapman College on Thursday at 8:15 p.m.
Erkenbrack, who led all scorers with 29 points, scored seven unanswered points in a minute to erase a 32-25 Camarillo lead midway through the third quarter.
Nichole Victoria led Camarillo with 28 points and seven steals.
