Karpun Gets 29th Goal as Dallas Beats Lazers

Mark Karpun scored his 29th goal of the season, and Eloy Salgado assisted on Dallas’ first three goals as the short-handed Sidekicks beat the Los Angeles Lazers, 4-3, Saturday night at the Forum. The Sidekicks, missing five regulars, won for the fourth time in five games against the Lazers.

The Lazers pulled within 3-2 on Ben Collins’ goal at 12:35 of the third period, only to have Jorge Acosta give Dallas another two-goal lead at 1:53 of the fourth.
