President Bush on Gun Control
It was so refreshing to hear our President speak up for all law-abiding gun owners, and against the criminals in our society.
President Bush, who is well versed in both hunting and fishing, is not confused on the subject of semiautomatic firearms. He understands that there is no functional difference between an AK-47 and any semiautomatic hunting rifle. He correctly stated that he favors the enforcement of existing laws. He wants to attack the criminal, not the law-abiding citizen!
It was the NRA that accurately reported that Patrick Purdy was arrested for felonies! His attorneys were successful in plea bargaining his crimes down to misdemeanors, and in getting him released seven times. Our criminal justice system stands guilty of murder.
Purdy should have been in prison! Not in Stockton!
