Caesars World Inc.: The Los Angeles-based hotel and casino firm said second-quarter net income fell to $10.4 million from $15.7 million a year ago. Revenue rose to $213.8 million from $198 million. The company said earnings fell mainly because of higher interest expenses, lower contributions to operating income from Nevada operations and higher unallocated expenses.
