The film “Dead Ringers” has garnered 12 Genie Award nominations (Canada’s version of the Academy Awards, in which the film was ignored), including best picture, director (David Cronenberg), actor (Jeremy Irons) and actress (Genevieve Bujold). The film was shot in Toronto, where the annual awards show will be held on March 22.
