Adrian Dantley continued his holdout, failing to show for the Dallas Mavericks’ scheduled game against the San Antonio Spurs and prompting the team to set a Wednesday deadline for his appearance.

“We’re still optimistic that he will report,” Maverick General Manger Norm Sonju said. “However, if he has not reported by Wednesday morning, we will make a formal statement regarding our position. Consistent with our announcement of last Friday, he will not be paid for any games he misses.”
