Local News in Brief : 3 Hurt in Calabasas Condominium Fire

Afire injured three people in a Calabasas condominium complex early Monday, firefighters said.
The fire, in the 26000 block of Alizia Canyon, broke out about 3 a.m. and was extinguished within an hour, said Los Angeles County firefighter Stan Pearson.
A man, a woman and an infant suffered from smoke inhalation and were treated at Westlake Medical Center, Pearson said. The man and woman, whose names were not released, were in stable condition at Westlake Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said. The baby was treated and released to family members, the spokeswoman said.
The blaze destroyed about 75% of one condominium and damaged three others. The loss amounted to $650,000, Pearson said.
The cause of the fire was not known.
