Bertha K. Rapaport, 88, the first woman elected president of the Hollywood Bar Assn. and the attorney credited with establishing a Hollywood courthouse. It took her six years, starting in 1980, to persuade Los Angeles officialdom that the Hollywood area needed its own Municipal Court to minimize commuting time for attorneys and jail time for suspects. Mrs. Rapaport, a widow, started a legal career after working as an elementary school principal in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles on Feb. 3.
