Swiss teammates Michela Figini and Maria Walliser continued their dominance of the downhill on the women’s World Cup circuit with a 1-2 finish in the Husky downhill at Lake Louise, Canada.
Figini, leader in downhill standings, won in 1 minute, 42.36 seconds, with Walliser at 1:42.51. Figini leads Walliser in the downhill standings, 126-102. Two downhills remain, including one today.
Michaela Gerg of West Germany was third in 1:42.71. Canadian Karen Percy was sixth in 1:43.33.
