I’ve been able to watch “L.A. Law”...

I’ve been able to watch “L.A. Law” only twice and wow, lucky me. Both times there was a bedroom scene featuring Jimmy Smits thrashing around in the sheets after a first date with some lip-drooling nymph. That bit of would-be titillation was bad enough, but the recent episode offered a bonus: at least 10 seconds of Jill Eikenberry with her tongue lolling around her husband’s (Michael Tucker) ear. Yuck! James Earl Jones was featured in that episode too, but not even his booming talent could keep me from switching channels. One of the best shows on TV? Give me a break.
