Del Webb Corp. offered to drop its injunction suit against an investor group headed by Calmark Financial Corp. of Los Angeles according to Calmark attorney Derek Hunt. The lawyer said the step came two days after Calmark sought formal dismissal of the action in U.S. District Court in Phoenix. The Phoenix-based real estate developer had alleged last monththat Calmark misled the public in filings about its proposal to acquire Webb.
