Boy Alive After Icy Plunge

DAYTON, Ohio — An 11-year-old boy who fell through river ice and was submerged for about 30 minutes could survive the ordeal, doctors said. Deon Jones was listed in critical condition Monday at Children’s Medical Center. The boy started breathing shortly after being pulled from the icy water Sunday, doctors said.
