Local News In Brief : Anaheim : Driver Arrested After Fatal Freeway Wreck

A 55-year-old Glendale woman was killed and the driver of a car whe was in suffered a broken neck when the car was struck from behind early Sunday in Anaheim, authorities said.
The driver of the other car, whose name was not available, was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving, California Highway Patrol dispatcher G. David said.
Alejandra Devora died of chest and head injuries suffered when the car was struck at 1:15 a.m. after stopping on the shoulder of the northbound Santa Ana Freeway, apparently so that something could be gotten from the trunk, according to Rick Plows, supervising deputy Orange County coroner.
The conditions of two other passengers in Devora’s car and three passengers in the second car were not immediately known, authorities said.
