Glendora’s Murray Breaks Scoring Record

Senior Tracy Murray of Glendora scored 43 points Thursday night at Damien to become California’s all-time prep scoring leader with 2,706, surpassing Santa Monica St. Monica’s Leon Wood, who scored 2,693 points from 1977 through 1979.
Glendora (25-1), The Times’ No. 6 ranked team, won the game, 76-57, to finish undefeated in Baseline League play.
