Deborah Goodwill, wife of Victorville Mayor Jeff Goodwill, died of injuries she suffered in a traffic accident last weekend that also claimed the life of her husband, officials said. Goodwill, 37, died at San Bernardino County Medical Center, the coroner’s office said. Jeff Goodwill, 41, died in the crash. A memorial service was held for him at Victor Valley College. Services for his wife were pending, authorities said. Deborah Goodwill was driving when the couple’s car collided head-on with a driver attempting to pass a mini-van on a two-lane desert highway near Adelanto, the California Highway Patrol said.
