Actor Sean Connery is recovering from surgery to remove a no-malignant growth from his throat, his son Jason said Tuesday. The Sun, Britain’s largest circulation newspaper, reported that Connery had cancer, but Jason said in London, “If he had cancer, I wouldn’t be in Britain, I would be by his side.” Connery is recuperating in Los Angeles.
