IN BRIEF : White Rejoins Clippers, for 10 Days

Free agent forward Eric White rejoined the Clippers today, signing a 10-day contract with the team.
White, 23, was a third-round draft choice of the Detroit Pistons in 1987 and played 17 games for the Clippers last season, averaging 10.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in 20.7 minutes of action per game.
He signed the first of two 10-day contracts with the Clippers last March 23 and was signed for the remainder of the season on April 11.
White, a 6-foot-8, 210-pounder, spent the first half of this season playing for Fantoni of the Italian League, averaging 21.0 points and 6.5 rebounds in nine games.
White then returned to the United States and played two games with the Wichita Falls Texans of the Continental Basketball Assn. and averaged 12.5 points and 9.5 rebounds.
He left the Texans to sign a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz of the NBA on Jan. 13, and played two scoreless minutes in one game. He was not signed to another 10-day contract by the Jazz.
