Early reviews reveal is a hit with New York critics. The Big Apple’s top critics got a look at “Kathy & Mo” at a Monday night preview and weighed in with a wave of raves in Wednesday’s papers. Some samples:
“Amusing . . . playful . . . funny . . . as wry as it is ecumenical.”--Mel Gussow, the New York Times.
“Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy are two powerful actresses whose ‘Kathy & Mo Show’ is a wonderful showcase for their abundant talent.”--Howard Kissel, New York Daily News.
“Gaffney and Najimy have instant and dangerous access to our jugular--with awful truthfulness. They relate the way most of us seem to tick, like lovably impotent time bombs on the way to the scrap heap. . . . Catch them now before wider fame challenges them.”--Clive Barnes, New York Post.
