Historic Site Transformed

The site of a 16-bedroom mansion built by George Henry Carson in 1885 will become the Carson Estate Co.’s newest development, Homestead Business Park.
The $15-million, 13.7-acre business park at 18100 S. Alameda Blvd. in Rancho Dominguez has begun construction with the first two buildings scheduled for completion in March.
Architectural details of the 1885 house will be used in a gazebo to be built in the business park.
