System One Corp., the Houston-based computer reservations subsidiary of Texas Air Corp., plans to lay off 250 employees in several cities, including Los Angeles, as part of its restructuring efforts. The reservations system has its largest concentrations of employees in Miami, Houston and Los Angeles. The number of layoffs in each city has not been released. The layoffs represent about 7% of System One’s 3,600 employees. Five vice presidents in the firm’s Houston corporate office were already notified that they were terminated, and other workers will be notified within a week.
