WWII B-26 Crashes in Bogota; 2 Killed

BOGOTA, Colombia — A World War II bomber on a test flight crashed into a heavily populated area of Bogota on Wednesday, but only two people were reported killed.
The recently rebuilt B-26 crashed in one of the capital’s busiest areas. The pilot and co-pilot of the twin-engine bomber died but no one on the ground was hurt, Col. Edgar Lozano, chief of operations Colombia’s Civil Aeronautics Administration, said.
