Clint Eastwood made their day at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., when he agreed to donate films and pertinent documents to the college’s new Clint Eastwood Cinema Collection. Eastwood films and artifacts also will go to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the school said. The museum will hold the original prints of Eastwood’s films, starting with “Play Misty for Me,” the 1971 thriller that Eastwood starred in and directed. Jeanine Basinger, the archive’s curator, said the collection is likely to include scripts, photographs, correspondence and other “working papers.”
