A 10-month undercover investigation led to the arrest of nine people in Yorba Linda and the seizure of narcotics, weapons and cash, police said Saturday.
Investigators served a search warrant at a house in the 4000 block of Loganlinda Drive Friday and seized four ounces of cocaine with a street value of $4,000, marijuana with a street value of $1,000, two semiautomatic handguns and $2,500 in cash, Brea Police Sgt. Michael Messina said.
Arrested were Richard Thomas Otto, 41, and his wife, Marelee Otto, 40, residents of the house. They were booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to sell. Bail was set at $25,000.
William McEllroy, 32, of Yorba Linda, was arrested on suspicion of assault and battery on a police officer. He was later released on bail.
Six other people were arrested on suspicion of possessing small amounts of cocaine and of being under the influence of cocaine. They were released on their own recognizance.
