SOLD: Rams owner’s second home, in Newport Beach, for $3.1 million

Figure about $1 million per chimney and you’ll have the price paid by a Santa Monica developer to Rams owner Georgia Frontiere for her Big Canyon mansion in Newport Beach.
The 7,000-square-foot home brought $3.1 million when escrow closed this summer, according to Rick Alderette, a Newport Beach realtor who specializes in estates.
“Three-point-one-million dollars is a pretty good price,” Alderette said. “It’s one of only three--away from the water--sold in the past twelve months on the multiple-listing service that brought more than $3 million.”
The Big Canyon home was Frontiere’s Orange County residence. She lives in the Bel Air section of Los Angeles.
