SEATTLE — Boeing said it has received a $125-million order for three 757 jets from China’s airline, bringing to 10 the number of the advanced-technology planes ordered by the Guangzhou Regional Administration.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China Guangzhou will receive the medium-range 757-200s--outfitted for 200 passengers--between December, 1989, and April, 1990, said Boeing spokesman David Jiminez.
Jiminez said CAAC Guangzhou will use the new-technology 757s on its high-density routes to Beijing, Shanghai and Kweilin.
