2nd Amendment: ‘History Lesson’
Your opinion is one thing. Historical facts are something more. Your “history lesson on guns” is your interpretation of the Second Amendment. Millions of Americans, including legal scholars, hold different opinions.
You say the Brady Amendment would be a good law. You don’t say what the cost might be to the taxpayers. You don’t tell us how an overburdened FBI will process the millions of background checks of honest citizens while criminals are still roaming our streets. Tell us how this massive new bureaucracy would convince criminals to suddenly start obeying the law, especially for a police background check. Let us form our opinions based on all aspects of the issue.
