Dashes Gold Digger Takes Feature Race

Dashes Gold Digger broke on top and cruised to a victory over A Girl For Joe in the featured ninth race Wednesday night at Los Alamitos.

With jockey John Creager aboard, Dashes Gold Digger picked up her second win this year. Sheza Lucky Lass finished third in the field of six 3-year-old allowance fillies.

Trained by Blane Schvaneveldt, Dashes Gold Digger finished in a dead heat for second in the recent Vandys Flash Handicap. Earlier this summer, Dashes Gold Digger posted the second fastest qualifying time for the Dash For Cash Derby.

Sent off as the 4-5 favorite, Dashes Gold Digger paid $3.80, $3 and $2.80. A Girl For Joe paid $3.20 and $3.20, while Sheza Lucky Lass returned $4.20.
