Carl Lewis, Florence Griffith Joyner, Edwin Moses and Mary Decker Slaney lead a strong U.S. squad in an invitational track and field meet tonight in Malmo, Sweden.

Abdi Bile of Somalia, the world 1,500-meter champion, and Sweden’s Patrik Sjoberg, the world record-holder and world champion in the high jump, have also entered the meet that kicks off a series of European meets leading into next month’s Olympics at Seoul.
