You’re writers should have tried going to Magic Mountain on a Saturday. I am a bona-fide thrill-meister for roller coasters, but I was pushed to the limit.
My friend and I waited 45 minutes to park (to park?), then headed for Ninja. We thought we were in for a nice day--only an hour’s wait and worth every minute.
But waiting for 2 hours 37 min. in 102-degree weather, even for Roaring Rapids, was pushing it. In fact, by 2 p.m. most lines had over an hour’s wait, some close to two. Only three rides had lines under an hour--Revolution, Colossus and Free Fall.
The employees were rude. Most were teen-agers in training who thought this job would be fun. I won’t even mention the conditions of the restrooms.
