Abdi Bile of Somalia spoiled the comeback of track star Sebastian Coe of England, edging Coe by .25 seconds in the 800 meters at an IAAF Grand Prix track meet in Lausanne, Switzerland, Friday.
Coe, racing for the first time in two years, assumed the lead before Bile overtook him in the stretch. Bile was timed at 1:45.25.
“It was a good test, and I feel confident that I will get back into my previous form,” Coe said.
