And the beat goes on: An oil painting of a young woman by French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec fetched $4.7 million at an auction of impressionist and modern works at Paris’ Hotel Drouot auction house Sunday. “At Batignolles,” painted in 1888, went to an anonymous European buyer, who also paid $1.26 million for Pablo Picasso’s portrait of his sister, Lola.
