The four-day U.S.-China Joint Session on Industry, Trade and Economic Development includes 1,000 Chinese from 22 provinces, who are looking for U.S. capital and technology to fuel their drive for economic modernization. The Americans are mostly businessmen from small or medium-sized companies on their first trip to China to meet representatives of Chinese industries.
